Ho Chi Minh, 27 November 2015 – More than 300 participants of 15 hotels, restaurants and Khanh Hoa University in Nha Trang will donate blood to help patients in Khanh Hoa-Vietnam at the Grand Ballroom of InterContinental Nha Trang hotel on Monday, 30 November 2015.

This is the third Blood Donation Day held by the leadership of Nha Trang Destination Marketing Organization (NTDMO) and Vietnam Red Cross in 2015. Hotels, restaurants, and university will dedicate special attention to collect over 200 blood units (250ml/unit) from this community event. A standard health check will be processed prior to the blood donation. Each donor will go through tests for blood pressure, glucose and hemoglobin count and communicable diseases. After that, the final blood collection will be sent to Central Blood Bank in of Khanh Hoa Hospital.

Mr. Pascal Caubo, the General Manager of InterContinental Nha Trang stated “All participants believe in the importance of this charitable donation as part of the social responsibility. We desire to send out an inspiration to others and carve the first stone on the path for them. The more we determine in the cause and encourage more people to commit to this type of event, the more consolidation social and humanitarian value of the community will have. Ultimately, patients who are in urgent needs of blood in emergency cases of Khanh Hoa hospitals will be supported tremendously”
